Windemere is carefully designed to put people in touch with opportunities to play, socialize, learn and explore. Amenities like neighborhoods, schools, libraries, parks, trails and open space are being completed in concert with the new home neighborhoods.

Arlington Park, Fire Truck Park, San Ramon Sports Park and Tiffany Roberts Field are complete and open for fun. Also complete is the fire station, which provides safety and emergency services throughout the valley.

Now Open: Dougherty Valley High School

The first new high school in the San Ramon Valley Unified School District in 32 years is now open at Windemere for the 2007-2008 school year.

The campus reflects the district’s and the community’s high standards for education. There are 80 classrooms, eight computer labs, two career tech classrooms, one video production studio classroom, 11 science classrooms and six special education classrooms and a fully-stocked library and theatre.  Athletic facilities include lacrosse and soccer fields, a stadium, two baseball diamonds, an aquatics center and two gymnasiums.
