Approximately 55% of Windemere Is Preserved Open Space

An extensive trail system creates more than 12.5 miles of pedestrian access routes that connect schools, parks and neighborhoods at Windemere. Many meander through the community’s acres of scenic open space.

Alamo Creek Trail

Hidden Valley Ridge Trail
This earthen trail meanders along a scenic ridgeline— spectacular views of Mt. Diablo and the Windemere community.

Tassajara Ridge Trail
This earthen trail is designed for hiking, bicycling and equestrian use. Saddle up and take in some wonderful scenery.

East Alamo Creek Trail
This popular paved trail connects several neighborhoods with schools, parks and the community center, library and community college.

Live Oak Trail
Leads through permanent open space to Tassajara Ridge Trail. Bring your water bottle and your spirit of adventure!

Windemere Ridge Trail
This paved hiking and bicycling trail overlooks the Windemere community.

Sycamore Grove Trail
A paved trail connects with live Oak Elementary School and the 15-acre community sports park—both opening this year.

Rolling Hills Trail
As its name suggests, this earthen trail offers picturesque hillside terrain and great views.
